Get to Know Our Sales Process
Referral Program members are asked to have a designated point of contact with Sterling Commerce, to make reasonable efforts to endorse and promote Sterling Commerce solutions, and to refer potential customers to Sterling Commerce.
- Referral Program member identifies a potential lead and registers customer information by using the Referral Lead Form.
- Sterling Commerce reviews referral registration information, determines if referral registration is a current customer or prospect of Sterling Commerce and sends an “accept” or “reject” notification to the Referral Program Member within 7 business days.
- The appropriate Sterling Commerce Sales Representative contacts Referral Program Member to be introduced to prospect, and works with Referral Program Member to close the deal.
